Welcome to the West Midlands TRF!

What is the TRF?

The Trail Riders Fellowship (TRF) is the UK's largest organisation for Trail Riding. It was started in 1970 by a group of concerned motorcyclists to resist the (often illegal) pressures that threatened their continuing legitimate use of our old green lanes.
For more information about the National TRF, click on their logo at the top to visit their site.

Who are the West Midlands TRF?

The West Midlands group meets on the 1st (Business) & 3rd (Social) Wednesday of each month at Wilmcote Working Mens Club here. We organise runs of 'legal motorcycles on legal carriageways,' as the national TRF would say, and to act as a reservoir of knowledge on local rights of way and works to protect vehicular rights of way in the local area.

The group runs can range from the local, aimed at the new member, with lots of help and advice and a relaxed pace, to runs further afield in harsher terrain and a tighter pace for the more experienced.

These are the main activities but the group also organises runs abroad, social events, even the odd non - competitive trail bike trial. If you are interested in off road motorcycling come along to one of the twice monthly meetings, you will find a friendly welcome, or email us.
